It's taken us a while to get back into the swing of things following our big trip to Florida. I'm quickly realizing I'm not as young as I use to be; driving cross country took a toll on both myself and my husband. Now that the dust has settled, it's time to start getting back to our weekly routine of planning out our menu for the week and doing our shopping ahead of time rather than running to the store every other day.
For this school year, we have decided to institute a cultural day once a week. This will give us a day to celebrate other countries and their people as well as try foods from that land. This week, our cultural day will be to celebrate the Native American people here in our own United States which will be on Friday.
