Field Trip - Test Flight Museum

This entire month of March, my husband has Honor Guard duty and with us only having one vehicle, it has been really hard to do anything with the kids. However, today he got back from a funeral early in the afternoon so we decided to head over to the Test Flight Museum here on base.

We have lived here for 4 years now and have driven by the Test Flight Museum many times but never have stopped to look at the static displays they have. Many of the planes are in desperate need of a good cleaning and a new paint job but there were plenty of rare prototypes and historical planes for us to enjoy.

Afterwards, we headed over to the NASA Armstrong unit to look at a few planes they had on display. Once we were airplaned out, we spend about an hour at the park before heading home.

The building used in Iron Man as Stark Industries Aviation Division

OOh and we also snuck over to "Stark Industries Aviation Division" but unfortunately, we didn't see Iron Man. ;)
