Verse of the Week

Yesterday was the first Sunday of the Advent season for 2015 and I figured I would honor the Advent by not so much honoring a particular verse but with a weekly reading for the next four weeks..

“The people who walked in darkness

have seen a great light;

On those living in the land of the shadow of death,

a new Light has dawned.

For unto us a Child is born,

to us a Son is given,

and the government shall be upon His shoulders.

And His name shall be called

Wonderful Counselor, Almighty God,

Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

Isaiah 9:2-6
