20 Years of Hockey

I wish that I could say that the picture below was my own - it is not.  It was taken by Michael Martin and posted to the NHL website.  However, I wanted to share it this week.

I am a huge Colorado Avalanche fan and have watched them for many years now.  This week, the team celebrated 20 years of history by honoring the "dream team" so to speak; players voted by the fans to be the best in the history of the team.   Each of these names, I have watched through the year: from the legends like Patrick Roy and Peter Forsberg to current talent like Matt Duchene and Gabriel Landeskog.
