Making a wish list is always hard for me.. Whenever I'm asked "What would you like for your birthday/Mother's Day/Christmas?" my answer is almost always the same - "I don't know!".. Honestly, I don't. Sure, throughout my passing of my day, I see things that I think to myself "I would love that!" but then when I really think about it, I'm more like "ooh, it's too much money. There's so much more I could spend that money on" or something along that line. That's not to say I don't like to spend money - trust me, I do - but I tend to spend that money on the kids or my husband, not on myself. As a result, the idea of anyone else spending that money on me is hard for me to think about..
For this week's 52 Lists, we were asked to come up with our wishlist.. Those items that if asked, would be on the top of "What would I want".. So, here's what I can come up with... (But would never actually answer if asked.. lol)
- A gift certificate for Amazon (although, I would probably end up spending it on the kids anyway lol)
- A gift certificate for Audible.com
- a day at the salon to have my hair cut and colored by a professional (I've done my own for years and it shows!!)
- Maid Service for a month (or two, or three, or a year!! lol)
- a new lens for my DSLR
- an offer to buy one subject of my homeschooling curriculum
- ANY of the sculptures from the Windstone collection from Melody Pena (I love all of them!!)
- a night at the TLF on base just me and my husband without any kids
Got a list of your own?? Then hop over to Beauty Full Slow's blog and add your list as well :) Just click the 52 Lists button above :)
Love the gift idea of homeschool curriculum! This is a list that I will probably add to as I come across things to help me answer that question that I always say, "I don't know!"
